An ambassador of the Chamber is an official representative and a front-line volunteer. Volunteering with the Chamber allows me the opportunity to become more involved with other business owners within the community.

My responsibility is to promote the brand, benefits, resources and support the Chamber offers local businesses.

The President is responsible for ensuring that the Board of Directors and its members are aware of and fulfill their governance responsibilities, comply with applicable laws and bylaws,conduct board business effectively and efficiently, and are accountable for their performance. The President is the primary liaison between the Board and the Executive Director. In order to fulfill these responsibilities, and subject to the organization's bylaws, the President presides over meetings, proposes policies and practices, sits on various committees, monitors the performance of Directors and Officers, submits various reports to the board, to funders, and to other "stakeholders"; proposes the creation of committees; appoints members to such committees; and performs other duties as the need arises and/or as defined in the bylaws.

As the Chair to the Ambassador's Committee I am responsible for the leadership of the committee. An ambassador of the Chamber is an official representative and a front-line volunteer. Volunteering with the Chamber allows the opportunity to become more involved with other business owners within the community. Likewise, it is also an opportunity to explore the needs and concerns of the business community and share that knowledge with the President of the Chamber.

It is my aspiration to bring both a business and work experience that will assist in the exercise of sound judgment in considering problems of the Chamber as they relate to the overall program of community development.to work constructively and harmoniously with directors, members and staff of the Chamber in accordance with policies established by the Board of Directors.
