~Natural Resource Management: Created tools to help managers, and administration, understand the connections between parcels, soils, slope, vegetation type, habitat, species, viewshed, recreation, and more. Generated guiding documents in land acquisition, grant writing and general management decisions.~ Hired, trained, supervised TN State Parks GIS staff.~Created partnerships within TDEC to enhance communication between divisions. Created Partnerships with other state departments, agencies and federal entities, expanding the understanding and communication capabilities.~ Prepared and managed the GIS annual budget to enhance system performance, cost effectiveness, and compatibility. ~Created agency standards and policies concerning the collection and maintenance of GIS data, also ensured that the State’s standards were met. ~Managed the production of maps, documents, exhibits and other graphics that utilize GIS within the agency.

Developed statewide conservation plans for areas such as scenic trails, endangered plant and animal species, facility construction, historic and archaeological preservation, park resources management, or outdoor recreational systems. Provided presentations and informational programs for parks. Reviewed and evaluated conservation plans to determine if goals and objectives are met.
