Broad experience in leadership in resource and environmental management in New Zealand spanning local and central government, with the last 3 years as CEO establishing Taumata Arowai , our new water regulator. Considerable involvement in Three Waters reform and interested in continuing to support in different ways. Previous decade in Canterbury as CEO of Environment Canterbury ( ECan ) learnt a lot about earthquake response and recovery, particularly leading ECan through that period, also water management and enjoyed working closely with Ngai Tahu.Specialties: Local and Central Government, Resource Management, Water Management and Organisational Development.
