Technology is my passion but I also have a wider skill set that includes communication and advocacy skills that brings additional benefits to a wide range of roles. During my professional career, I developed a successful Internet radio streaming business offering a professional and reliable Internet radio platform, that delivered a secure and stable network whilst working to a restricted budget.I am continuously developing my technical skills in my own time and frequently self-funded with regard to CPD courses and events that I find useful to me and to my employer.My skill-set also includes effective advocacy for the radio broadcast sector to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport, to Ofcom, to other media industry bodies, and to the music copyright agencies. Additionally, I have current qualifications in PRINCE2 project management.My transferable skills include: ability to organise own workload, staying calm under pressure, excellent customer service skills, team work, analytical thinking, public speaking, ability to motivate, troubleshooting, Linux system administration.
