I am driven by a passion to make recruiting better for everyone. I work with tech start ups on product, market fit and being investor ready. I have advised 9 companies through growth to exit, and have strong connections globally with VC and PE firms, who I advise on the market, investments, acquisitions and growth strategy.I have spoken at most of the leading recruiting or HR events across the globe, and regularly serve as emcee or host. In 2020 RecruiterMagazine gave me the honour of the Recruitment Impact Award, and I have also been recognised by a number of award bodies and lists. In 2010 I launched #tru, a series of unconference events which is not for profit and open source. There are around 100 #tru events hosted across the globe each year (Covid permitting.) that provide the basis of all my research and networking.As a recovering recruiter, I have been featured in much on-line content, including ever popular training videos for SocialTalent. I never wear a suit, always wear a hat, and believe in pushing the boundaries of what we could achieve as recruiters.
