CurrentI like to think that I'm a problem solver with a proven ability in business to create, shape and clearly communicate different ways of looking at all kinds of things. Brands, products, services and people. Through my work I have developed some great and trusting relationships which have lasted almost as long as I've been a designer. It's the different people I've encountered which has made my business life very interesting and I've enjoyed working closely with a lot of great people on communication projects in a wide variety of public bodies, private businesses and academic organisations. Sometimes the requirements were simple to begin with, and became more complex as the projects grew arms and legs (as they always do!) Some people have been more specific about what they needed, with really clear views on how they wanted things done and where they'd like their project to end up. No matter the challenge, or the planned destination, I've always found the journeys (how we get from A to B and all the way to Z) to be the most intriguing part of any design project. We never stop learning. I'm pleased to say that most of my work has been gained through 'word of mouth' and referrals from existing clients and suppliers. No matter what the design problem is, or what branding issue I may be faced with, I always say: "Let's look at things from another angle, and say things a little more clearly, but in a Different Voice." Simple really.
