In this role, I implemented multiple analytical techniques to plan immense IT change across the organization of all services such as server, network, phone, printer, end-user infrastructure, and all business software including ERP, BI reporting and commercial estimating software to achieve business success. I enhanced performance of 2 IT staff with 185 employees in 17 locations across Western Canada through coaching sessions. Optimized ERP system, website upgrade and full BI reporting platform with analytical ability. I leveraged in-depth industry knowledge to upgrade entire network including telecom contracts and all switching and routing to produce maximum results. I oversaw server hardware upgrades, and storage to better align infrastructure with industry standards. I migrated physical servers to co-location server facility to stabilize IT services with enhanced operations efficacy. I administered evergreen cycles and increased performance of all user hardware including laptops, desktops, terminals, printers, and minimize IT Helpdesk issues with detailed troubleshooting. I lead installation of new Exchange email system and migration from old Zimbra. In this role, I scaled up IT department responsiveness by launching timely initiatives, and ensure strict adherence with SLO's. I effectively communicated horizontally and vertically with corporate infrastructure team to upgrade services in the divisions, quarterbacked IT divisional group amalgamation. I spearheaded a team from 6 staff to 11 staff, including development and business analysis, while coordinating with IT teams from other Wajax divisions for uninterrupted operations. I increased effectiveness of IT services, from Helpdesk to Infrastructure to ERP for Wajax for 2 divisions, up to 70 locations and 2000 users across Canada to smooth the workflow. Introduced new Helpdesk software to optimize Incident and Request Management (based on ITIL), inventory, and scalable projects to achieve specific project objectives. Unified Helpdesk teams for 2 divisions of Wajax, while maintaining high quality standards. Improved helpdesk management by setting Service Level Objectives (SLO) for all Helpdesk Incidents and Requests.
