Develop and implement services, programs, and opportunities that support the career exploration and preparation of students in the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science at Lehigh University, including individualized coaching sessions, group workshops, and classroom presentations.Serve as a liaison to the Pride Center for Sexual Orientation & Gender Diversity and the Center for Student Access & Success to support the career & professional development of related student groups and organizations.

Managed all aspects of the Exploratory Studies program, including: orientation and student transition programming for first-year students in targeted cohorts (i.e. undecided, pre-nursing and pre-biology students); developing curriculum for courses in academic skill building and career development; supervising adjunct faculty and academic advisors for student success courses and programs; hiring, training and supervising academic success and career exploration peer mentors; collaborating with the Career Development Center to provide strategic support initiatives for students in the program; and, recruitment and enrollment management functions for undecided/undeclared students. Supported the Academic Affairs Office with program management functions, including: overseeing the High School Scholars and High School Dual Enrollment programs and maintaining relationships with area guidance counselors; liaising with faculty in all divisions to maintain community college articulation agreements; administering the transfer credit approval process; collaborating with IT and the Registrar’s Office to maintain transfer course equivalency data; and, evaluating Advanced Placement and dual enrollment credit and assisting with first-semester course registration.

Provided campus-wide academic success programming and one-on-one academic coaching sessions for students seeking help with study skills, test taking, time management, organization, and note taking. Supervised all peer and professional tutoring programs for traditional students, ACCESS (adult/evening/online) students and Accelerated BSN students. Served as an academic advisor to undeclared students and as a member of the Gateway to Success retention team.

Co-designed, developed and implemented interactive workshops for DeSales University’s Gateway to Success program, a summer bridge program for first-year students. Workshop topics included: effective study skills, note taking techniques and textbook mastery, time management, stress relief, reading comprehension, and transitioning to college life.
