Hi there! I'm Bill, and I'm completing a MSc in AgriFood Sustainability and Technology in the University of Galway since September 2024.I am passionate about the opportunities to mitigate methane emissions associated with enteric fermentation. I plan to center my research project around this subject. Before starting my MSc, I completed my BSc. in Agricultural Science at Munster Technological University. This course equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the agricultural sector in Ireland, covering various topics such as agri-environmental management, cattle and dairy production, sustainable crop production, soil science and grassland management. While completing my bachelor's, I completed an internship as an agricultural advisor assistant.Aside from my studies, I worked as a teacher delivering course content to students in the distance education Level 6 QQI agricultural qualification.I am actively looking for opportunities in the agri-food sector, including research, advisory and technologist positions. If you have a role you think I would be suitable for, please reach out!
