After the MTSS Site Coordinator position was dissolved (due to budget issues in the school district) I returned to the classroom at Katella High School (Anaheim Union High School District) as a Math teacher for Algebra II. I taught here for one school year until our family moved to Charlotte NC.

Magnolia High School, Anahiem Ca

Collaborated with school site teachers, counselors, campus safety officers, attendance clerks, school psychologists, assistant principals and principals to coordinate school-wide, multi-tiered systems of supports. Lead professional developments to address the needs of students struggling with academic, behavioral, and social/emotional challenges. Ran and analyzed data metrics on categories including GPA’s, absences and detentions to identify trends for at-risk students. Successfully coordinated and mentored others in the school site advisement program which included presentations to district-wide administrators, teachers and program leaders.
