Doing is the key and I have boundless energy and organizational skills to accomplish difficult tasks.In the last ten years on 45 excursions in 17 countries I led teams to teach management skills in program management, contract negotiation, and logistics planning. A leadership laboratory in a shoulder bag is my kit. i build relationships as a foundation to present technical skills.Seminar settings, outdoor experiential learning and online training through distance learning are my specialties. I am a 40-year veteran in defense matters as a lecturer with the Graduate School of Business and Public Policy at The Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. I served in and out of uniform with the military in a variety of jobs. As a U. S. Army Special Forces officer I was the senior U. S. military advisor in a 1500-square kilometer zone in El Salvador, a contested combat zone against an armed insurgency. As a Planning Commissioner for the city of Napa, California, serving 4 years including one year as the Chairman, I helped shape the look of one of the most visited places in the world - Napa Valley.. I am a volunteer at the Veterans Home in Yountville, California and am the founding Executive Director of the California Veterans Support Foundation, a charitable organization that supports veterans returning from deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. LTC Retired Chadwick is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, earned an MBA from Golden Gate University and is a decorated combat veteran.
