• Successfully implemented a new inventory system of record (Glovia) to replace the archaic Legacy (EMPACT) system; a 3-year globally implemented undertaking across all Dell factories and facilities. Involvement included the following:• Evaluated all processes related to inventory handling, movement, and data input.• Re-engineered processes (and process flow charts for each) to eliminate wastes and incorporate Glovia functionality.• Redesigned Glovia functionality to accommodate Dell’s unique business model.• Assisted with the design and development of an on-line, interactive training application working with two Dell team members, and a group of contracted web developers.• Assisted in planning, scheduling, and conducting classroom training of 4000+ Dell employees.• Team member Total Available Market project resulting in $10M in costing efficiency by providing Hard-drive and Optical commodity suppliers with an agreed upon percentage of commodity usage based on product receipts to each manufacturing facility.
