Bill Cohen is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Tuhaye Venture Partners. Tuhaye Venture Partners is a New York based enterprise software-focused venture capital firm investing at the earliest stage of the company’s lifecycle. Tuhaye’s pre-seed portfolio includes high growth companies such as Privy, FINDMINE, Narrative I/O, Mulberry, Bespoke Post, Teampay and Neighbor Schools. Bill is currently a Board Observer at several of these companies.Prior to founding Tuhaye Venture Partners, Bill had a 25-year career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and Barclays. During most of his tenure, Bill ran the Global Media & Communications Group which had 100 employees around the world. Over this timeframe, Bill originated and executed over $200 billion of M&A and capital markets transactions for clients such as Cox Enterprises, Liberty Global, Vivendi, Comcast, Fox Entertainment and Cablevision, among others. During his last three years at Barclays, Bill was Vice Chairman and focused on Board and CEO relationships.Early in Bill’s career, he worked with various clients in Silicon Valley with a focus on emerging media, content creation, adtech and data analytics. He is particularly experienced with data analysis and business modelling for corporate users in the enterprise software space. This led him to found Tuhaye Venture Partners in 2016 where he could apply his extensive network, board experience and advisory background to help entrepreneurs grow from day one. Bill also served for a decade on the Executive Committee of New York Cares, the largest volunteer organization in New York. He ran the Development Committee and led fundraising efforts which resulted in raising over $10,000,000 during his tenure.Bill holds a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business.
