I'm NOT currently looking for work, as I arguably have at least 1 more job than I should! The attached resume is missing my current position. (I've returned to CipherSpace.)I have over 2 decades of diverse IT experience in large and small companies and as an independent consultant. I have been involved in fighting spam since the early 90's (no kidding!) both professionally and as an activist. I have been a user of Unix and Unix-like (e.g. Linux, Xenix, Ultrix, etc.) and MacOS systems since the early 80's and have administered systems professionally since the early 90's for businesses ranging in size from 1-man startups to Global 50 corporations.Specialties: Spam control (and its evil twin deliverability management,) Unix-like OSs (FreeBSD, Linux, MacOS, Solaris, Tru64, AIX,) E-Mail ( Postfix, CGP, Sendmail, Dovecot, SpamAssassin,) DNS (BIND, rbldnsd), Apache HTTPD (and a little nginx too,) Information security, virtualization (QEMU/KVM, XenServer, VMWare, FreeBSD jails, OpenNebula,) Unix toolsmithing (primarily shell and perl), writing HTML by hand, and explaining technical matters to non-technical people.
