Iot EngineerQuantumiot Jan 2017 - PresentDallas, Tx, UsDeveloped an IoT hub to collect data via sensors over wifi and LORA. Hub could register and report data to AWS via MQTT and receive control commands to update firmware (FOTA) or control sensors. Project lead responsible for design and development of hardware and firmware for a floating sensor to do a survey of the boiling river discovered recently in the Amazon. The project used LORA technology to capture PH, temperature, conductivity, and oxygen levels in the water. Data was transferred via LORA to a hub and passed via satellite radio and stored locally to a Linux server.Responsible for IoT project for data collection and control of beverage coolers. Collected temperature and humidity as well as time-of-flight laser sensors or cameras to determine amount of product on shelf and number of times door was opened. Data was stored locally to be collected by handheld BLE devices and/or passed via LORA to a wifi hub. -
