Natural Dog Company makes real, whole food health and wellness products for dogs. We acquired the brand in 2018 under the Elements Brands umbrella, and now Natural Dog Company operates as a standalone company.

We seek out and acquire brands with strong footholds in niche markets that can be expanded more broadly, as well as long established brands that are in need of a catalyst to reach a new generation of consumers. Our core competencies are in ecommerce, digital marketing, product development, disciplined operational excellence, and a strong culture of ownership.In 2022, we sold the entire Elements Brands portfolio to focus on only one brand - Natural Dog Company.

Event hosts can gather candid photos from their attendees, and host a private social media feed - all organized over text message.TextMyGuests was acquired by private investors in 2021.

Table's Ready is an app for restaurants that replaces "buzzers" with text messages to diners' phones when their table is ready. Table's Ready powers restaurant wait lists across the country and has sent notifications to nearly a million diners.Table's Ready was acquired by private investors in May 2017.

OrderCircle is elegant e-commerce for B2B commerce - we're bringing the same all-digital experience that B2C shoppers expect to wholesale transactions. No more phone orders, faxes, or emailed forms. Think of it as Shopify for B2B ordering. We built the software internally after seeing first hand with Elements Brands how difficult it was for us to manage our wholesale orders. OrderCircle was acquired by private investors in 2016.

Worked directly with our investors (Pamlico Capital, fka Wachovia Capital Partners) and senior management team on acquisitions, post-close integration, and strategic projects in the cloud computing and data center space. I made sure complicated things got done on time and under budget.

M&A investment banking focused on the middle market. Industry generalist, but technology focused. Responsibilities included transaction execution, client interaction, financial modeling, and industry domain expertise. Created M&A, LBO, Accretion/Dilution, capital raise and operating models. Researched and complied in-depth industry presentations and market updates.

Refocused and optimized the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s online marketing and fundraising efforts. Worked directly with the executive vice president on the digital release of Dan Fogelberg’s single “Sometimes a Song” during the 2008 Grammy Awards, proceeds from which were donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Helped coordinate a marketing campaign and the track’s release on iTunes and Amazon.com, where it was the #1 song on the day of its release.

Responsible for managing and advancing Groupvine, an internet software product in use at over 30 schools on the east coast. Planned and wrote winning grant applications to raise startup capital. Developed a business plan and revenue model. Gained experience in every aspect of building a startup company. Groupvine was acquired in 2007.

Supported senior bankers on M&A advisory and capital raising transactions.
