I have more than 30 years of experience in the Broadcast Media field as a newscast director. At WQAD-TV in Moline, IL, I am the superuser of the Ross OverDrive Automation Control system that produces more than 6 hours of news a day. In addition to coding and directing my own newscasts I continue to train my fellow directors in the most effective and efficient methods to insert MOS objects into NRCS scripts using the OverDrive system. I enjoy spending time discussing with operators about the 3 or 4 ways to do a single event. Sometimes it feels more of a hobby. Speaking of hobbies; I am also fanatical about everything Star Trek. As I have dedicated myself to my career I always keep one thing in mind, "Good enough never is."
