CurrentAs Art Director, I design brands and create engagement campaigns for a variety of clients in the cause-driven industry. I also create animations, digital illustrations, vector icons, and other design assets for use in print and digital applications.Hightlights: From 2017-2022, developed the brand and campaign designs for Michelle Obama’s Better Make Room and Reach Higher initiatives that have generated over 4.2 billion hashtag impressions and activated over 600,000 students to seek a higher education.Creative lead for the 2021 Vote Your Way engagement campaign for the Harris County Clerk’s Office that reached over 1 million Houston residents and resulted in 52% of voters casting a ballot outside of their typical polling location.DISCOVER• Lead kickoff meetings, discussions, and activity and interview sessionswith clients to collect essential information and insights• Conduct target market and competitor research, identify tensions and opportunities, and present findings to clients and stakeholders through presentation decksCREATE• Collect inspiration, create moodboards, sketch, whiteboard, and lead ideation sessions to develop original campaign concepts and brand identities• Collaborate with creative team to design and develop social media content, websites, motion graphics and video pieces, emails, posters and print collateral, and other forms of tactical elements and extensions that align with research and discovery findingsLAUNCH• Deliver implementation-ready assets on time under strict deadlines• Review and approve print and digital collateral, and provide art direction for freelance designers, animators, and videographers• Advocate for clients by following a test, learn, and apply method, and observe and monitor their social media presence to provide guidance on design and messaging during implementation
