This is a group of Senior Level Project Managers that meet regularly after work to discuss real life PM challenges. I facilitate the group meeting. Each member of the group shares their personal and work related issues in a totally confidential environment. I then use my formal Executive Coach Training to offer a different perspective, invite them to consider new options, and generate a roundtable discussion among the other Project Managers. In most cases, there is usually someone in the group who has had a similar experience to this, and he or she then offers a possible solution. The meetings are usually held on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. This group has been effective in providing useful guidance for it's members. The Project Managers always leave the meetings better off than when they arrived. This is a volunteer work effort.

Hired as a trouble shooter to turn around a failing project for this Contract Medical Device Manufacturer (‘CMO”). The project involved the development of a new medical device for an outside client. The client was a new technology start-up company that contracted with Source Scientific to build their device so that it could be produced and used in clinical trials.

Irvine, Ca

Developed project plans and project schedules in Planisware, the firm’s international project management software standard. Monitored and updated the status and health of the R&D projects against the project schedules and project plans. Also monitored the tasks, resource loading, budget and risks on a monthly basis throughout the entire project lifecycle. Results were summarized in a clear and focused monthly report to the client.

Led the team that completed and delivered the first Six Sigma Project at that location. Succeeded where four previous teams failed. Provided the team with knowledge, resilience, resourcefulness, and process improvement experience so that it could overcome numerous obstacles and roadblocks. This project significantly reduced the rework needed to process e-Discovery documents by over 87%. The volume of throughput more than doubled, and the turn-around time was decreased by more than 50%. This, in turn, allowed the company to grow significantly, and handle new volumes of business. Also completed 2 additional Six Sigma Projects.
