I have worked for Fortune 500 companies in a sales capacity. Starting at a entry level with Levi Strauss & Co. as a stocktaker in high school and college. My interview for my first sales position was a 2 on 2 basketball game with Regional Sales Manager. I was completely unaware that this was my test to see how well I handled the competition. This has helped me with all the sales situations that have occurred in my sales career.I used this experience at Levi's to open a small retail beachwear store with a friend in Tustin, CA. We grew to 3 location and over 1.1M in annual revenue. I joined Nordstrom in the Men's Clothing Department at the South Coast Plaza location. I learned how to grow and develop my personal book business to achieve the Pacesetter Award. At 3M, I joined the Orthopedic Products Division. A complete change in customer sales point, but I was able to draw on years of sales experience to achieve a successful career. I earned 3 Gold Level Sales Awards, 6 Silver Level Awards and 3 Bronze Awards. I sold various product categories: Orthopedic Products Division, Medical Products Division and Skin and Wound Care Division. I am now co-founder and partner at Capital Nursing Education. We develop a 7.5 CE program for nurses on the topics of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Care.
