• Performed Highly Accelerated Life Testing on Ice Detector product family; isolated power board transformer, optocoupler, and strut spring as equipment weak points leading to upgraded design with increased temperature and vibration limits. • Recipient of two Level 3 corporate awards for role in design of wind tunnel automatic calibration system for Boeing 787 Icing Conditions Detector that reduced calibration time from 8-12 hours to 3-4 hours/unit.• Conducted DO-160 environmental qualification for Pilatus PC-24 and Embraer KC-390 Ice Detectors, certifying both models for flight.• Subject matter expert for 3D printing, acting as primary operator for Fortus 400mc machine; developed intranet system for requesting jobs and tracking cost savings information providing the business case to purchase additional printers.

• Served as cross-functional team leader for investigation into accelerated wear condition of AOA resistive elements; created Design of Experiments, leading from root cause identification to countermeasure implementation and an estimated savings of $200k.• Designed accelerated endurance test to validate upgraded Dassault Falcon 2000 AOA assembly was no longer susceptible to dither wear. • Spearheaded ME FET as founding member to drive efficiency and communication among 95+ engineers across division; Established sustainable structure for design documentation and information as leader of Knowledge subcommittee.

• Completed mechanical design and qualification of new end stop assembly of Sideslip Angle (SSA) vane for A400M turboprop transport aircraft to eliminate performance issues generated during reverse thrust conditions.• Led seminar on engineering knowledge management processes leading to the foundation of Mechanical Engineering Functional Excellence Committee (ME FET).

• Coordinated directly with senior partners to structure data analysis protocol and implemented firmwide document management procedures.• Spearheaded design, organization, and management of firm's electronic and paper filing system, streamlining more than 30 transactional and 80 open litigation cases.

• Investigated new electrochromatic mirror technology and components to reach goal of 20% cost reduction.• Worked with ED4 to improve current center console lid design; proposed new latch mechanism ($0.84 savings/vehicle) and supervised heat & wear tests on design.• Collected data of leather vs. vinyl among Tundra’s competitor vehicle seats; reported findings to Vehicle Seats Group as well as upper management to save $18/vehicle.

• Responsible for ED4’s Brochure-Data completion for 2008 Toyota Venza; included features, register airflow performance, airbag safety, and serviceability/disassembly procedures.• Worked on open issues for Venza, Tundra, and Camry. Resolved fitting issue between side-defroster and demister, providing countermeasures to adjust thicknesses.• Participated in sled testing for Venza’s passenger AMF05. Found glove box was too flexible; assisted with new glove box design, adding ribs to increase rigidity by 20%.• Investigated importance of passenger-side IP Kogame; measured deflection on 12 points subjected to different loading conditions and reported results leading to their continued use.

• Served as liaison between 14 design departments and over 100 suppliers.• Accountable for more than 200 requests per week for the design and development of parts, engineering change instructions, and prototype part requisitions.
