A recipient of numerous industry recognition in every facet of his career, Bill's minor claim to fame is creating the acclaimed "Biography" series and helping to oversee the unprecedented launch and success of the History Channel and subsequent growth of many other program initiatives, channels and brands of AETN. He is currently owner and Executive Director of an independent documentary film and television production company, Pyewackitt Productions, a creative consultant, adjunct professor and Executive Producer on smart projects of unique quality. Bill is also the General Manager of the Ridgefield Independent FIlm Festival.A multiple Emmy, Telly, Ace, Cine, New York Film Festival, Banff and Vision Award winner, Bill's career spans 30 years of television program production and successful business management.Starting in the film lab, processing news and documentary footage, Bill has literally worked his way through every field, studio and post-production role, to leverage that experience and insight throughout a successful and accomplished career.
