As the Global Platform Leader for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Bill works as a conduit between the RHEL business unit and the global sales organization to turn strategy into execution. In this role, he brings field feedback to the business unit (BU) to make adjustments to existing programs while ensuring that new go-to-market (GTM) strategies and programs are both understood and executed by the sales organization to deliver results.

Oversee a team of solution architects across the U.S. that serves our State and Local Government and Education customers. This highly trained and skilled team helps our customers understand the Red Hat portfolio in order to build solutions that can solve their business challenges.

As a Principal Solutions Architect for Red Hat, I focus on our State Government, strategic University and Health Care customers across the United States. I work with our customers to find synergies between their goals and Red Hat's solutions. This includes working directly on projects with specific customers while also speaking at conferences, doing podcasts, and writing articles to get the word out on how Red Hat helps government and education succeed.

As a Sr. Solution Architect, I help Red Hat's State, Local, Education, and Healthcare customers achieve their business goals through open source solutions. As a contributing member of the northeast sales team, I am constantly seeking to understand my customer's needs and issues and match those up with Red Hat solutions. To that end, I spend 70% of my time visiting with customers while the other 30% is spent educating myself to stay on top of Red Hat solutions as well as industry trends. To support this pursuit, I contribute published articles, speaking engagements, workshops, demos, and presentations.
