Work HistoryBriefly when I left school I worked for Plessey International as a Purchasing Cadet andafter six years ended up as a Purchasing Manager.I then left for Australia for three years doing various jobs but spent two years on a OilRig for Oil Drilling and Exploration LTD (PTY)I then returned to New Zealand to set up my Earthmoving Business, I built up the businessover the years and employed up to twenty-three workers in Auckland this was ongoing forapproximately fourteen years.I also setup my own Gold Mining company (Moke Creek Mining Co.) in Queenstown, SouthIsland for a period of two and a half years. I then moved to Bay of Plenty and carried onwith my Earthmoving activities for the last twenty-one years. During my business life I have done work on Industrial, Commercial and Residentialsections. I have also done roading, sub-division work, Life style blocks development andLandscaping. I have vast experience on heavy machinery.An opportunity arose to sell my business and I was able to work for a Sub-contractor toMachmons Contractors for Waihi Gold Mines.
