Led the team that created the John D. Rockefeller 3rd Scholars Program for planning and research grants to transboundary multidisciplinary teams in South and Southeast Asia on pressing problems in environment and development. Established strategic partnerships including representing Winrock as a founding member of NetHope and being point person for negotiating and managing the amalgamation of the Environmental Resources Trust into Winrock. Secured four full-time Cisco employees via the Cisco Foundation to imbed at Winrock for a year to modernize its knowledge management, project management information systems, networking and connectivity, and internal IT management. During this period, also incubated and served as Managing Director for two implementing units: Clean Energy and Ecosystem Services.
