Assisting Dr. Simmons-Reed with her professional research, I was responsible for editing documents, curating data, and writing literature reviews to be used in academic studies. I was also the lead mentor for the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (CASD) team. I worked with students to help them achieve their educational goals through personal tutoring, one-on-one coaching, and technology assistance. Along with my mentoring duties, I hosted teacher training courses to minimize the communication gaps that occur between CASD students and BSU professors.
