Oversaw the maintenance and operation of multi-million dollar facility consisting of troop billets, a brigade dining facility, and multiple buildings on Fort Carson.- Participated in planning conferences that led to the first major revision of the Army’s rapid fielding initiative, ensuring that the proper equipment was issued for our Afghanistan deployment in 2009.- Implemented several key training programs in the brigade to ensure survivability for over 3,700 Soldiers.- Transformed all components of the dining facility diet to provide performance nutrition to increase Soldier physical readiness and long term health for the vigor’s of combat in Afghanistan.- Recognized by Army Material Command for having the best Supply Support Activity in the Army for maintenance and receiving of all equipment for the brigade’s deployment.- Direct involvement led to the development of several live fire ranges which replicate forward operating bases in Afghanistan, increasing survivability for every Soldier assigned.
