Performed Environmental and Loss Prevention Audits at the various IKO, IG and CRC manufacturing locations in Canada and the USA. Facilities included asphalt shingle manufacturing, aggregate manufacturing, fiberglass roll manufacturing and polyurethane foam board manufacturing.Assisted in preparing the air permit application to be able to construct a new facility in the United States.Assisted the various plant locations with their environmental permitting requirements including preparation of permit applications.Assisted the various plants with environmental concerns raised by local residents and government agencies.Prepared engineering calculations and process flow diagrams to support environmental permit applications.Prepared and submitted the facilities’ environmental information to various government agencies as required.

Implemented a new type of refractory for the slag cleaning vessel which reduced 1.5 million dollars in brick costs per year

Responsible for the direction of 8 unionized technicians and managed R&D projects in the Smelter. Project management of endwall slag removal which increased the revenue by 4 million dollars per year. Implemented of the first phase of high metallization project generating 2.5 million dollars in additional revenue.
