Presently retired and enjoying life with my wife, traveling our great country and world, hiking, enjoying my grandchildren, and running road races. Time being spent with my wife and family and traveling to so many places I never thought I'd get to are my priorities now. I will possibly consider roles as an independent consultant in the manufacturing sector if that role is consistent with my current lifestyle. My time for consulting is now very limited and roles from my network who I know well will only be considered. I will not consider working for someone else as an employee. My retirement and freedom are just too much fun! My expertise and experience in new market development, market research, new product development, technical troubleshooting and improvement, and product commercialization is extensive. Previously I was a Technical/Corporate oversight Manager in the Coatings Services segment of PPG. Mission is to help the various North American Coatings Services locations optimize and improve their processes while improving profits and reducing costs, using Six Sigma principles and working closely with Technical and Quality Managers and Plant Managers at each location. I have also had extensive experience as a sales and marketing technical professional in the industrial, metals, chemicals, pre-paint and coil coating industries with extensive technical expertise and experience as well as highly developed commercial skills that have helped others increase sales and profits and created new business. Developed sales programs for the sales force that added value and helped create new sales opportunities for new business. Assisted in technical issues and troubleshooting with key accounts.
