Bill Kleist is a tested veteran of the field of graphic design & branding who has spent nearly the last 3rd of a century arming hundreds of clients with brand identities, ad campaigns & marketing collateral, in over 20 different industry types.After graduation in ’83 from MSU with two B.A.s — Graphic Design and Advertising, Bill gained experience on the front lines of the advertising world in a Grand Rapids ad agency, and in the trenches of the world of freelance in retail and manufacturing. A few years later Bill was hired as a special gun for General Motors to create, design & develop a high-level visibility room for their Fixed Asset Management initiative. A part-time project which lasted 7+ years. In 1993 Bill and his wife Linda began Identity Graphic Design specializing in creative graphic design development for SMB’s, providing a range of applied design methods for print and digital media. In July of 2014, the business name was changed to Identity Creative®, to more effectively capture the range and depth of the branding services they provided. Today, he and Linda work to transform their client's brands, one identity at a time, tapping into the best talent available, and expanding the foundations for the future growth of their company.In 2005 Bill began teaching as an adjunct professor of Graphic Design at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, teaching the principles of graphic design and how to earn a living in the field once graduated. It was here that for the next eleven years Bill found a new passion, teaching and inspiring the next creative generation who had a zeal for brand design and development.Company Objectives:1) To provide every client the Remarkable Advantage of a dynamic and impactful brand identity & brand strategy, 2) through the IC 3-phase process (clarify, create and connect), and articulate every facet of their clients' brand, resulting in a unique Brand Blueprint.
