Consulting services to non-profits that wish to raise capital and endowment campaign funds in North Carolina and other southeastern states.

Worked as volunteer from April, 2010 till January, 2011 to raise over $40,000 for the Clara Barton Society. Organized the first Clara Barton Celebration to kick off campaign on November 30, 2010. Supervised workers to encourage past givers to renew their gift.

Managed Capital Campaign with 50 council volunteers and other staff members. Raised over $1,000,000 each year from 2006-2009. Total since 2004 is now $7,500,000. Completely upgraded the 2,400 acre Camp Durant in Moore County and that brought an increase of 90% of scout campers from 2008 to 2009.

Served as executive director of non-profit and supervised 7 staff members with budget of $750,000 in 4 counties of eastern North Carolina. Maintaned all programs with 170 scouting units and 5,100 youth members. While operating these programs of youth service, I also conducted a 1991 Capital Campaign of $750,000 from over 400 donors. Also, managed a 2003 "It's Time" Campaign with over 150 donors and raised $2.2 million for Endowment and Capital.

Served youth organizations in Clarksville, Tenn(1973-1977) and Northern Ga as District Scout Executive and Field Director and Director of Field Services in N.E Georgia(1978-1983). Worked directly with a volunteer district committees to fund raise, recruit youth and recruit and train adult volunteers. Promoted from area in Tenn. of 1,500 youth in 1977 to new area of 2,000 youth in Lawrenceville, Ga. in 1978. Promoted twice after 1979 in Ga and supervised staff of 10 serving over 10,000 youth and raising over $1m a year for operating.I first met Bill when I became Scout executive of the Northeast Georgia Council, Boy Scouts of America in 1983. Bill served as that staff with me as a field director and then as director of field service. Bill left in 1984 to become Scout executive of the Tuscarora Council in Goldsboro, NC for which he had a very successful tenure leading the council to new heights. One of Bill’s many talents is in fund-raising. He has proven this to be true over the years by leading successful campaigns in the Tuscarora and Occoneechee Councils.
