Bill is entering his 25th year as a REALTOR. Bill joined his mother Karen to form The Lawton Team in 1998. He helped grow the team to Mega status with a "less is more" mentality by identifying and developing talent into highly productive and successful REALTORS and team members.  With a team of four, the Lawton Team consistently outperformed teams three times their size.  Bill's focus on leveraging his sphere of influence landed him the nickname “The Land Guy”.  His expert knowledge of farm, ranch and raw land helped to create an impressive inventory of listings.Early in his career, Bill was featured in REALTOR® Magazine for his contributions to mobilizing the Real Estate Industry. Bill joined Keller Williams in 2009 as a Mega Team Owner and later accepted the opportunity and challenge to be a Market Center Team Leader.  He was taxed with the goal of increasing profit in a market that had been severely impacted by the stock market crash. In less than two years the Market Center saw the greatest increase in its percentage of profit.  At the end of almost four years, Bill joined a neighboring KW office as the Broker-In-Charge, and in two short years found his true passion as the Productivity Coach serving in both roles simultaneously. In an effort to follow his own strengths, Bill pursued the opportunity and became a MAPS Leadership Coach for Productivity Coaches. His passion for coaching and training in the Productivity Coaching Program fueled the creation of a platform that continues to be successful in growing Cappers.  Over the course of almost nine years in this role, the program created 196 new Cappers.  Bill credits his success in his three leadership roles, BIC, TL, and Rainmaker, to his focus on the Big Rocks first.  Bill has been and continues to be heavily involved in the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors (GGAR), serving two terms as MLS Chair, Vice President, and President in 2013. Growing and developing REALTORs is Bill’s focus and priority – coaching, training, and mentoring new and experienced agents at all levels to reach new goals.
