As an enterprise architect, my main objective is to research, scope and implement new technologies to help the business become more productive and cost effective as the industry evolves over time. Was responsible for overseeing daily operations of a corporate datacenter. This consists of maintaining the diesel generator, datacenter’s UPS/power, air conditioning, as well as all the network and server equipment. I also managed various vendor contracts related to Datacenter operations.Main engineer responsible for server provisioning (physical & virtual). Internal employees and software consultants will work with me on designing ERP systems that run in the corporate datacenter that service end users across the globe.Directly supported roughly 1500 servers that function as application servers, database servers, file/print servers, IIS servers, WINS serves, DNS servers, DHCP servers, and domain controllers.Technical lead for a virtualized environment consisting of VMware ESX and ESXi hosts using Fibre Channel backend storage arrays.Technical lead for all storage array appliances in the Americas. This consisted of EMC Clariion, Celerra and VNX models.Domain Administrator within an Active Directory 2008 domain. This role consists of creating objects, working with internal DNS, creating/editing GPO’s, maintaining sites and services, and trusts.Performed SQL administrative tasks in SQL 2000, 2005 and 2008. Familiar with a handful of helpful SQL queries.Familiar with Microsoft Sever clustering and network load balancing.

Westwood/Canton, Ma

Primary systems administrator responsible for two Massachusetts offices. This consisted of supporting server hardware and OS's. Supported roughly a dozen locally hosted applications as well as the local network.Supported the local PBX telecommunication infrastructure. This included phone installations, phone moves, troubleshooting of desk phones and the PBX unit.Designed, implemented and maintaned the backup infrastrucutre that would backup server and user data at both Massachusetts locations.Secondary responsibility would be to backup the Desktop Support Technician. If tech was out or overloaded, I would step in to provide additional support for desktop issues.
