The sale of Advanced Signing LLC To Poblocki Sign Company in August 2018 ended the 37 year ownership and management of Advanced Signing by Bill & Jo McConaghy.Starting in 1981 with three employees and a focus on the real estate market, Advanced Signing LLC grew into one of the regions largest architectural sign companies with 50+ employees.Transitioning through a period of retail customers, Advanced Signing continued to develop the organization and competencies required to service the architectural sign market. The organization grew to encompass highly skilled project managers and account managers along with a sophisticated design build capability. These skills enabled the company to provide a full range of services from small update orders, the extension of corporate standards for a new facility, to the development of an entirely new wayfinding and signage program.Supporting the organization was a sophisticated management and manufacturing system. An ERP system provided the required company wide controls. State of the art manufacturing and graphics systems provided for accurate and consistent product execution. A focus on 5S and Lean Manufacturing helped ensure a timely and quality product.The company capabilities translated well across the corporate, education and health care markets.
