Responsible for all technical operational aspects of a broadcast newsroom. Duties include: scheduling 70 union employees in a 24/7 operation. The schedule includes 3 union contracts and 6 union workgroups. Built and managed the schedule to achieve budget goals of the newsroom while meeting daily workflow requirements. Managed the maintenance of 20 sets of ENG cameras and 7 sets of MMJ cameras and support gear. Managed the maintenance of 25 news cars, 3 live trucks, sat truck, and helicopter. Manage all technical aspects of pool helicopter agreement with local NBC station and helicopter vendor. Purchase new equipment as needed for field crews. Responsible for training all 27 photographers, editors and 7 MMJ's including onboarding of new staff. Responsible for improving performance of all 27 IBEW photographer and editors. Headed the training effort of 99 staff members covering 5 departments when KMOV transitioned from Edius to AVID March 2019. Member of the KMOV union negotiation team. Helped to negotiate 7 CBA's with members of IBEW and AFTRA. Court-appointed Media coordinator for St. Louis city and St. Louis County. Help Coordinate group coverage for national stories with Meredith Corp. Continued to implement Strengthfinders assessments and improve team culture in newsroom.

Responsible for all aspects of the 4:30am-7am broadcast newscast for KMOV . Duties include: content decisions for broadcast, story selection, script approval, designing a daily strategic social media plan for KMOV Facebook page, develop and execute long term strategic planning to grow audience, daily creative planning with News 4 This morning team of 20 in all 5 work groups to improve broadcast product. Grew audience 80% in first 6 months on job. Tripled KMOV news share during this time and moved a 3rd place newscast to second place.
