I've been focused on software and open standards for more than two decades, with PostScript and PDF at Adobe, dynamic image and video transcoding at PictureIQ, back to Adobe as GM of Digital Publishing, then serving as Executive Director of the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF), the industry association that standardized the EPUB format for eBooks and other publications based on HTML and other Web Standards. After leading the merger of IDPF into W3C in early 2017, I served as Head of the Publishing Activity at W3C to complete the merger transition, while also continuing as President of the Readium Foundation open source consortium. Now exploring new startup concept in fintech space.
