- Completely overhauled Expedia's HTML, CSS and Javascript architecture into a component-based framework (similar to Twitter Bootstrap) for a 300+ developer team across 14 online properties in over 20 countries. - Increased search results page response time by over 75%.- Built a three-person front-end engineering team and provided SEO and accessibility training.- Created an heuristic and scorecard for evaluating pages and features for SEO-friendliness.

- Presentation layer developer responsible for all HTML/CSS production for Washington Mutual’s business and consumer online banking site: http://www.wamu.com.- Responsible for ADA/WCAG compliance implementation site-wide.- Frequent collaboration with business owners and marketing teams using rapid prototyping techniques to increase speed-to-market for both in-house and vendor-created visual designs.- Oversaw and produced a new web-standards compliant presentation layer for the recent WaMu.com re-design. This deliverable resulted in a 50% reduction in overall bandwidth usage, increasing Washington Mutual’s online rank to #1 in speed and response time amongst top online banking sites (Ranked by Gomez)

- Responsible for curriculum design and instruction for student-led web design and development workshops for UW students, increasing overall workshop attendance over 50% from previous-year workshops.- Served as a Teaching Assistant for Digital Journalism classes in the Department of Communications.
