EMEK Security CIS (Community intervention specialists) is a private security company that focuses on de-escalation modality while ensuring positive outcomes to any crisis situation. This is a community office based center that promotes family reunification of absent fathers and or mothers due to substance use and abuse, mental health, co-occurring disorder. With the concept of IICAPS (intensive in-home child and adolescent psychiatric service), evidence based practice, seven challenges, strength-based practice, the modality is to unify and advocate for families in emotional and psychological despair.Primary objective is to treat individuals that suffer from mental health, co-occurring disorder and addiction, to reduce the enormity of youth violence and family displacement • Provision of psychotherapy to individuals suffering from mental health, addiction, substance use and anger management. • Collaboration with community agencies for continuum of care. • Visit prisons, shelters and schools to speak and encourage individuals, youth and the “displaced” to voice their needs and develop a needs assessment for recovery.

Responsible for the day-to-day and ongoing administrative and clinical operation of the licensed outpatient clinics located in New Haven and Bridgeport, Connecticut. This position is responsible for the smooth, efficient and effective operation of the designated programs ensuring their operational and financial viability. • Ensures full program utilization. • Achieves adequate revenue flow. • Contains cost within limits of budget and revenue. • Ensures compliance with all state, local and accrediting standards and regulations. • Ensures compliance with all Safety Manual policies and procedures. • Utilization of information system. • Prepares required monthly, quarterly and other reports. • Selection, training and supervision of clinical and administrative staff, including interns and volunteers, as applicable. • Safeguards and provides clinical program integrity, evidence-based practices, treatment planning, and treatment planning reviews. • Works with and handles mandated and oppositional clients, as well as, family involvement in treatment as applicable. • Efficient scheduling of staff. • Develops and implements staff and program evaluations. • Designs and implements new or revised programs as appropriate. • Organizes and analyzes program evaluation and client satisfaction surveys. • Community, public relations and marketing. • Other related duties as assigned or agreed to by Senior Management.

Management of a 98-bed family and elderly recovery treatment shelter while supervising 45 staff members. • Developed corporate funding partnerships with local businesses, including Diageo, Stew Leonard’s, Hitachi, GE, Capital, Community foundations and Chambers of Commerce. • Established new revenue streams, creating a 40% financial increase during a 10-month period • Implemented new and diverse counseling and job-training programs to help displaced citizens return to their communities. • Redesigned and implemented a new culture and mission statement of the Agency which highlighted transparency, honesty and client focused culture. • Implemented Hope Works Job Training Program, with mental health and substance abuse treatment and recovery curriculum which saw a 30 percent increase in client re-entry to the work force. • Worked closely with the Board of Directors to develop funding sources and implement new programs and policies. • Developed public outreach programs and established community relationships.

Supervised more than 300 employees who oversaw 39 group homes with developmentally disabled clients (DDS), as well as sex offenders, mental health and substance abuse clients (DMHAS) in the Judicial, Correctional and DCF system. . Oversaw a multitude of services, including Birth to Three, Autism Spectrum, and Community Training Homes (CTH) for juvenile and adult adoption, individual homes for DCF-referred clients for clinical support and supervision.

Supervised program directors and case managers, who worked tirelessly to provide transitional housing and support for the Department of Correction ex-offenders struggling with mental health, addiction, housing and family reunification. Streamlined the re-entry process, serving as a liaison between state agencies and correctional system and parolees.

Served as a state-certified corrections and security officer in the state’s minimum-security prison. My responsibility was to provide safe environment for the community, staff and inmates by supervising and monitoring more than 900 inmates. I conducted perimeter checks and legal services, and investigated illegal activities within the confines of the prison. As a training officer, as supervisory role, i trained correctional cadets and veteran corrections officers on multitudes of prerequisites, law enforcement required trainings in security and investigation of crimes.
