Having grown up in a proud family of union plumbers including my great grandfather, grandfather, father, and brother, I am very familiar with the rich history of UA Local 38. Through the years I have been able to grow my connection with Local 38 through my time working at Camp Konocti in Clear Lake, CA. Now I have the opportunity to deepen that connection through my new role as Director of Communications.Previously I spent over 20 years working in the field of education in various capacities including admissions, teaching, coaching, work study, and administrative leadership. I am passionate about working with young people and believe that quality, comprehensive, and culturally competent education is imperative to a student's long-term success.In addition to supporting high school students, I spent fifteen summers as the Director of Camp Konocti. This camp is a unique and incredible benefit, which allows children of parents who work in unionized plumbing/steam fitting/HVACR positions through Local 38 to experience a truly remarkable outdoor education experience.
