Siemens Advanced Protection Assessment, formerly know as PSS®CAPE, software supports the system protection function within electric power utilities. Advanced Protection Assessment is used by major utilities worldwide due to its extensive library of highly detailed relay models and extensive selection of modular protection tools that help engineers manage voluminous and complex network data, uncover potential problems, and examine alternative solutions. As Global Sales Director, I work directly with the Siemens Grid Software, Grid Simulation sales executives to educate them about the product and how the software can assist their customers to better manage their protection simulation requirements.I also work directly with major clients on complex projects and develop work performed by the Siemens team. These projects include relay model development, wide area coordination studies, NERC PRC compliance studies, and system integration services.With global responsibilities, I have been able to learn a great deal from my work with our customers about the specific requirements and unique differences in operations around the world.
