Responsible for strategic planning and direction for all facilities-related physical plant functions across the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center enterprise. Functions include property management and operations, engineering, plant operations and maintenance, planning and programming, and capital renovations and new construction.

Bill is responsible for managing all aspects of engineering and construction across all Cone Health-owned sites, as well as ensuring plant compliance with all regulatory agencies. He also will work closely with other leaders in the planning of future physical plant needs, budgetary considerations and reduction of risk conditions as they affect direct patient care throughout the health network.
