I am an experienced nonprofit leader and manager, with a strategic, collaborative, and team-oriented leadership style focused on developing staff. I have worked in various areas of the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors for 30 years, in fields as diverse as teaching, community organizing, research and planning, and strategic grant making. I have published research articles and reports in areas such as community and nonprofit technology, middle school education, homelessness, housing affordability, mortgage lending discrimination, participatory planning in Latin America, and urban planning history. I have a strong background in research methods, data integration and analysis and communications and knowledge dissemination, as well as deep experience in interacting with diverse groups of community stakeholders and strong relationship-building and collaborative skills.
