As Vice President of Preconstruction, Bill Priesmeyer is responsible for business development, project selection, project capture plan strategies, procurement, contract bidding compliance and contract negotiations. Internally Bill works closely with his staff of engineers, estimators, and the Vice President of Operations regarding actual methods/costs of ongoing projects as compared to methods/costs prepared by Preconstruction services to carry out the common goal of a successful project from inception to completion. On the client side, Bill’s role is to work on behalf of the client/owner and Engineer of Record (EOR) to determine project constructability, design-build opportunities, cost saving strategies and bid package creation. Priesmeyer served as Vice President, engineering services at Bloomsdale Excavating’s sister company, Nexus Construction Service Group.
