Regional Express (Rex) is Australia’s largest independent regional airline operating a fleet of 60 Saab 340 aircraft & 7 Boeing 737 aircraft on some 1,700 weekly flights to 60 destinations throughout Australia. The Rex Group comprises Regional Express, air freight and charter operator Pel-Air Aviation, as well as the Australian Airline Pilot Academy.Planning, implementation and management of all aspects of Rex’s network flight schedules including:Airport slot coordination and compliance management.

Kendell Airlines was a wholly owned subsidiary of Ansett Australia Airlines with 35 aircraft, operating 31 routes around Australia, 1550 flights 41000 passengers per week and a $280m annual turnover.Development and implementation of a system to allow for the compilation of Route Profitability Management Reports designed to underpin operational decision making across Kendell Airlines.

-Project managing the development and implementation of the Kendell Airlines Network Operations Centre on time and on budget and as part of this reform, driving the implementation of a new Airline Operations Management system.-Undertaking extensive stakeholder consultation with a view to communicating and engaging the workforce in the change program; implementing communication strategies to overcome pockets of resistance. -Supervised the day to day running of Kendell Airlines day to day operations nationwide and assisting a team of direct reports in working through a range of complex issues so that operations and customers were not adversely affected.-Providing support to commercial and operational areas of Kendell Airlines including developing reports, responding to ad hoc queries and negotiating solutions to identified issues. -Managing and coordinating the Network Operations Centre including allocating and monitoring resources and ensuring that all activities remained compliant with regulatory processes and legislation.

-Project managing the development and implementation of the Kendell Airlines Maintenance Planning & Scheduling department on time and on budget and as part of this reform, facilitating the integration of existing information systems.-Undertaking the continual planning of aircraft rotations taking into account operational, commercial and maintenance requirements; completing flight schedule development.-Producing the weekly maintenance schedule for Wagga Maintenance Base, undertaking long term planning with regard to heavy maintenance and component availability and ensuring aircraft arrival for revenue services after completion of maintenance.
