Bill retired in December 2006 from his position as Director of Wholesale Sales at Verizon Telecom located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His Telecommunications career emphasis has been in managing professional sales groups, where he was recognized for leadership, creativity, and consistency in developing high performance staff, negotiating major contracts and managing key business relationships. Bill began his career at Southwestern Bell, where he held many different assignments including Sales, Technical Support, and Marketing. He later joined The Williams Companies start-up WilTel, which rapidly grew and merged with WorldCom, then MCI, and was eventually acquired by Verizon. Bill is a Tulsa native and received his BSBA from The University of Tulsa. Since leaving Verizon, Bill has been developing his own portrait and event photography business.
