As the Director of Data Architecture, I am responsible for leading the full lifecycle of analytical solutions, from data strategy through implementation. I help clients to develop their data strategy, understanding what business questions are most pressing, identifying which data are needed to answer those questions, architecting and building those data pipelines, and guiding the development of the analytical products consuming that data.I also help businesses to develop well-curated data which meets compliance and business requirements, and have the security necessary to meet needs of legislative, contractual or customary data usage rules, data security rules and cloud implementation security rules. Finally, I am responsible for enabling our data engineering teams to skill-up into new technologies to meet our customer needs, whether through tactical training or through certification pursuits.All of this is done across a wide variety of toolsets, data platforms, cloud providers, industry verticals and business use cases.
