My background is in IT, having got into the industry back when the Apple Mac was new. I have worked my way up from basic helpdesk support to Server and Networking maintenance for many customers, however the last 14 years have been all about Telecommunications and Site Data systems. Have been working in the Mining Industry around the Bowen Basin for 18 years now, working on various mine sites and for many customers that support these sites. I have been involved in various large projects, including P25 rollouts, Breadcrumbs data networks and P2P Microwave backhaul links to name a few.Currently working towards my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, where I will be focusing on passing along the knowledge and experiences from nearly 2 decades in the industry, along with all the changes and challenges.
