My insights, ideas, and storyboards bring people together, fuel positive change, and launch new transformational products.At Autodesk Education, I enhanced my Zoom skills when I was a full-time remote learning designer and we iterated on a social, game-like visualization for a new kind of peer-to-peer learning platform. I took charge of a disparate development team, implemented Zoom Half-day Deep Dives, and rallied the teams in SF, Toronto, and Boston/NY to deliver two prototypes for the Command Map for Fusion 360. At MeYou Health, I embraced behavior change design, games for health, and public speaking. Together we created a suite of engaging, scientifically-validated, open social health products. As MYH grew, I also proposed, built, screened, hired, and led a new product discovery and prototyping team. While at Parker Bros/Hasbro Games, I became a master at play, reward, and motivation. Although I’ve collaborated on over 30 commercially released games in my 20+ year design career (including mobile apps for health, a stair-climbing iPhone game, and countless handhelds and plug n’ play TV games), I’m still growing and constantly striving to create playful tools and systems that transform players into lifelong learners. Over the course of my career, I've evolved into a game design ambassador with a magic sketchbook, constantly seeking common ground in every partnership. I thrive in environments where game design fuses with other industries. I listen more than I speak, storyboard more than I prototype, and constantly look for ways to deliver genuine, playful learning opportunities at the intersection of industries, people, and outcomes.
