Industrial Engineer
Current1. Performs tool research, develops Request for Proposals (RFPs) for necessary tools and materials.2. Develops specifications for all phases of design, utilizes advanced engineering methods to develop process designs and efficient utilization of resources (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, equipment) in the creation and validation of products.3. Performs quality assurance on documents for all phases of design and construction by reviewing and comparing tool lists, layouts, and specifications.4. Oversees the development and application of Industrial Engineering concepts, techniques, and decision tools to promote and implement changes in manufacturing, engineering and service operations.5. Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.6. Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.7. Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.8. Designing control systems to minimize costs and production issues.9. Developing design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.10. Preparing material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.11. Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.12. Training staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals.13. Managing process documentation and preparing production reports.14. Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.
