Currently comprised by the CEOs, software developers and staffs of more than a dozen enterprises, SCTC serves as the voice of the tech community in SWFL.

What an incredible last few years it has been! I've had the privilege of working in the Cayman Islands (developing a technological mechanism that benefits all manner of small business)... then returned to Florida to help with the editorial needs of Ogden Publications in the beautiful island community of Sanibel - a paradise made home by many beautiful people too. Went off grid awhile ... a break before the complete break-down... but have now had sanity and serenity restored... and am toiling away, feeling more productive than ever before. Most recently, I've handled branding efforts for two new business start-ups, devised a quality assurance tool for senior residential care center in Naples, have taken on a consulting job for a project pertaining to bio-terrorism... and am writing/editing for an international business publication. And still.... having more fun than any man deserves!

This is the newspaper created by Former CIA Director Porter Goss... was proud to have worked with so many wonderful people... on an island that is famed for its shell-strewn beaches, birds and beautiful sunsets. This is truly a one-of-a-kind community, and even though it exists just off the coast of Lee County... it feels like another world... in some ways... it is like the world should be... with an extra helping of bliss.

Hired to assist with the writing and publishing of a book relating to the history of the Punta Gorda and North Port area of Florida, which is essentially where America's cattle industry all began, and not by Texas-styled cowboys, but Spanish explorers. Fun Fact: The term Florida "Cracker" derives from those early cattlemen who would crack their whips when driving the herd.

Helped launch this newspaper which covered all manner of business and business issues relative to industries and economics in Southwest Florida. Beyond feature stories, I also wrote a regular column called "Anything but, Business as Usual."

International College, which is now known as Hodges University, is a private, not-for-profit, college with campuses throughout Southwest Florida. I was responsible for writing news releases, speeches, campaign letters, video productions, and coordinating all matters involving media. During my time with this school, it achieved record student enrollments and garnered record philanthropic support... which culminated into endowments responsible for naming of its School of Business, its Life Long Learning program, and even endowing of the President's office (which was a first in Florida). I also helped produce and write a program called Titans of Business and occasionally lectured on subjects involving rhetoric and journalism for classes in the Life Long Learning program.

Working with any Chamber of Commerce can lead to some of the most rewarding experiences one can ever have. There can be no community, without commerce, and in Naples, there are businesses who are not only interested in their bottom lines... but also making a beneficial difference in the community they serve. As communications director for the Chamber, I assisted during an important period of community repositioning which included the Chamber's relocation into a new multimillion dollar headquarters, as well as relocation of the Naples Visitor's Center. I also served as Editor of the Chamber's monthly newspaper, Currents, and handled the variety of news releases and media communications for what was a very busy organization. In this time, I also coordinated media matters involving both Republican and Democrat Senatorial Debates staged at the Naples Philharmonic which were broadcast throughout the state.
